SERVICE PROJECTS:

Teams from www.AllThingsArePossible.org recently gave of their time, talent and treasure to:

Prepare & serve 100+ lunches and worship alongside congregants of Common Cathedral, an outdoor ministry on Boston Common.

Select and package books for prisoners through the Prison Book Program.

Entertain and inform residents of a South Shore nursing home with music, trivia, and talks.

Collect and donate hats, scarves, and gloves for the Friends of Boston's Homeless.

Organize shelves and package groceries for the Food Pantry program at Interfaith Social Services.

Matt 25:35-40 Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.  I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.  I was a stranger and you invited me in.  I needed clothes and you clothes me.  I was sick and you took care of me.  I was in prison and you came to visit me."  When they asked, "When did we do these things for you?" Jesus responded, "Whenever you did so for the least of my family, you did so for me."

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 Paul said, "There are different kinds of gifts, but he same Spirit.  There are different kinds of service, but the same Source.  There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all people.  Not to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."

We make a difference in the world by putting our time, talent, and treasure to use for the common good.  Kindness matters.  Each month, we work for the greater good by volunteering with local organizations addressing such issues as hunger, poverty, homelessness, and more.

We've recently given assistance to Ecclesia Ministries, the Interfaith Social Services Food Pantry, The Prison Book Program, The Friends of Boston's Homeless, and a local nursing home.

To get involved, please fill out the form on the Contact Page and indicate why types of volunteer opportunities would be of interest.  What gifts can you share with others?
